Maybe half mermie and half vampire?

It looks deep but it's like what 200 ft. something like that? It's still scary to think about the earth opening up unexpectedly underneath you and swallowing you down it. *shivers* lol

Yes,the new one is about that..the one that opened up in 2007 however was over 300ft deep.Could you imagine the earth liquifiying beneath you and just sucking you down? Thats would really,not be good.

So are these two separate sinkholes? This is really scary. It makes you think about all the crazy people running around saying that the world is gonna end in 2012. Makes you wonder if they could be right.

Yes,they are two separate ones...one in 07 and the other 10.But if you look at airal shots of the jungle down there you see these all over.Its part of the geology there.

I was thinking about these sink holes and also the oil spill. So we have all this oil underneith us and as it is removed being it is a layer in the earths crust, so it would be causing dents so to speak, do you think that could be a reason for these sink holes ?

Think of oil as sinovial fluid of the Earth.I believe it works just as it does in a joint in our bodies.
